Summary:
|
The California Public Contract Code ยง20118 authorized public entities to participate in the legal bid contracts of other agencies, saving time and the expense of preparing and advertising for bid packages for similar items. The bidding agency obtains more competitive pricing based on larger quantities of supplies and equipment.
On March 7, 2025, the Purchasing Department put out a Request for Information (RFI) and received three vendor responses with piggyback contracts for furniture.
