Summary: Per Government Code sections 53260-53264, the requirement to approve the contract in Public Session exists for new contracts and for extensions or other amendments of existing contracts. The Employment Contract for the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources is being amended to extend the term, include an ongoing two and a half percent (2.5%) salary increase, and incorporate the longevity schedule as reflected on the Assistant Superintendent salary schedule effective July 1, 2025.
