Summary:
|
Pursuant to Education Code 60400, before the governing board of a school district adopts any instructional materials, the governing board shall hold a public hearing on the materials to be considered for adoption.
Pursuant to Education Code 60200, each governing board of a school district shall adopt the instructional materials that are consistent with the content and curriculum framework adopted by the state board and aligned to the content standards.
Samples of the recommended materials are available for public review at the Beaumont USD Educational Support Facility.
