Summary:
|
In accordance with the Riverside County SELPA bylaws, members of
the CAC serve the SELPA in an advisory capacity. The members of
the CAC shall be appointed by, and responsible to, the governing
board of each SELPA member local education agency (LEA). The CAC
shall be composed of parents of individuals with exceptional needs
enrolled in public or private schools, parents of other pupils enrolled
in school, pupils and adults with disabilities, regular education
teachers, special education teachers and other school personnel,
representatives of other public and private agencies, and persons
concerned with the needs of individuals with exceptional needs. (Ed
Code 56192)

The administration recommends the Board of Trustees of the
Beaumont Unified School District approve the Riverside County
Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) Community Advisory

and Windy Carrizosa to serve as the District's representatives for the
period of August 8, 2024, through June 30, 2026.
