Summary:

On December 3, 2024, the District provided a preliminary written notification to the REEP Executive Committee, as required by REEP Bylaws Article XI, that Beaumont Administration Confidential Management Employees (BACME), Beaumont Teachers Association (BTA), and California School Employees Association (CSEA) and its Chapter 351 members, intend to withdraw from REEP for all benefits. BACME, BTA, and CSEA have requested to withdraw membership from REEP effective July 1, 2025. Per REEP Bylaws Article XI, the preliminary notice to withdraw shall be reaffirmed by submitting to the REEP Executive Committee, a resolution adopted by the District's Board of Trustees giving final notice. The attached resolution provides the final notice to withdraw from REEP. Article XI, Letter A of the REEP Bylaws also states that the withdrawing Member will not be eligible to reapply for membership until such time as twenty-four (24) consecutive months have lapsed.
