Summary:
|
California school districts are required to annually review the credential authorizations for their certificated employees. This is commonly referred to as “assignment/misassignment monitoring.” Furthermore, Education Code Section 44258.9 requires county superintendents of schools in turn to monitor school districts to ensure that there are no teacher misassignments outside the authorization of the teachers’ credentials. The District has verified that assignment options used during the 2024-25 school year are appropriate, and that the conditions required by law have been met. |
